Sunlight pouring through glass panes, rippling across terracotta tiles. The sharp sweetness of citrus caught in the air. A basket of fruit, half-peeled, resting beside a vase of fresh blooms. Afternoon heat, golden and humming, enveloping everything in slow delight.

Scent: Blood Orange and Bergamot

Ingredients: saponified oils of sunflower, coconut, and sustainable palm (with retained glycerin); water; madder root; essential oils of blood orange, bergamot, tangerine, orange, lemongrass, lime; rosemary extract.

Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    The soap itself is very good, as all of them are, gentle to the skin. I wash both my face and body with them without any problem, they don't dry out my skin. This one I tried to check out the smell, which is pretty good. ★★★★★

    Good soap, not a lot of scent

    Soap feels great as always but the scent is a little lacking. Not that it doesn’t smell good, it smells delicious, but the scent is too weak. Can’t smell any of it after the shower, and can barely smell it while it’s lathered. Sad because blood orange is one of my favorite scents!
