Saltbrush

Together, they conjure a breeze that’s both briny and floral, a scent that feels like standing on a bluff after rain, skin kissed with salt and sunlight.

Formulated with pink clay, Himalayan pink salt, and apricot kernel oil, Saltbrush gently detoxifies while restoring softness and balance. Retained glycerin and plant oils create a creamy lather that leaves skin clean and lightly perfumed with the memory of wind and water.

Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Unique and Earthy

    I like trying new soap scents when they become available. This soap has a unique, earthy smell to it. I like it, but it is definitely not a typical scent. I was hoping the salt in the bar would be exfoliating, but the bar feels like a regular smooth soap to me. I will go back to my ol' faithful Navigator once this is done.

    Very impressed by the soap bar! In the past I have used liquid soap as preferred over the bar. I have been trying to cut back on buying things with plastic in them and this soap bar made it easy to switch.

    My favorite

    I almost didn’t get this soap because of some other reviews that stated they didn’t like the scent. I wish I hadn’t listened because this is hands down my favorite soap out of all the soaps offered, and I’ve tried them all. It’s very lightly citrusy and mildly smells of pink clay, which I find very calming. But the best quality is the soap feel- it left me feeling so silky and soft. I am bummed I didn’t buy at least 3 of them. The only con is I went through the bar quickly- not sure if that’s because of the soap or because I genuinely liked using it so much!
