Sunlight pouring through glass panes, rippling across terracotta tiles. The sharp sweetness of citrus caught in the air. A basket of fruit, half-peeled, resting beside a vase of fresh blooms. Afternoon heat, golden and humming, enveloping everything in slow delight.

Scent: Blood Orange and Bergamot

Ingredients: saponified oils of sunflower, coconut, and sustainable palm (with retained glycerin); water; madder root; essential oils of blood orange, bergamot, tangerine, orange, lemongrass, lime; rosemary extract.

Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     excellent aroma

    I'm sensitive to strong scents and this soap is one of the few soaps that smells lovely, strongly, and without irritation. Buy two and "glue" them together with a bit of water between them overnight.

    Great smelling soap

    This soap smells delicious and lathers very well! I use it in the shower and it's also not drying at all. The only downside is that if some of the foam gets on a surface and you don't wash it off right away, it leaves dried red spots/smears and makes your shower look a bit like a crime scene. I haven't had a problem with the red staining though.
