Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Fantastic exfoliating soap

    Everything about this soap is perfect! The scent is great and the soap is luxury quality. The eucalyptus mint has exfoliating grains, too. Cleans better than any body wash or shower gel I've tried and at the same time is so much more moisturizing than regular soap. Pics are after about 1.5-2 months of daily use—very long lasting

    smells nice

    I like this one, mint notwithstanding. Personal thing: I love minty foods and drinks, but not a fan of them in soaps and shampoos. This one is quite minty, but I still like it. It just has to wait for summer before I'll use it again.
