Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     My current favorite Sun Basin soap

    Really good soap with a really good scent. The tea provides a dark, yet gentle base, while the orange cuts through the darkness of the tea, making a wonderfully balanced scent.

    Still desperately waiting on a vanilla scented soap, but until then, this is a close second. Love it. Highly recommend.

    Smells Sooooo Good!

    I love this soap. It smells fantastic, and the scent lingers well into the workday. I regularly find myself giving my arm a sneaky little sniff throughout the day, haha. It also leaves my skin feeling light, while most bar soaps I've tried make my skin tight and itchy.

    Switching to bar soap was easier than I thought!

    I was nervous coming from liquid soap but this works as good if not better! And the charcoal tea tree smell is my favorite in particular its subtle and clean in a not sterile way. Only thing I'll say is if you're moving to bar soap for the first time make sure you get a soap saver bag to make it last a while or else you'll move through this quick
