Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     You Were My First

    This was the first scent I tried and it has a nice gentle smell. This and Trailblazer are my favorite. The bar is so solid and lasts so long. I tried using Dove bar soap to compare and man is there a difference! Dove "bleeds" all over and felt filmy. Sun Basin felt like the soap only came off when I wanted it to. It did NOT bleed and make the area all gross in the shower. It gave me a nice clean feeling. Again, great smell. I believe it lasted longer too. Oh! When you get to the end of the bar Dove just crumbled whereas Sun Basis was still solid and one piece to the very end. When it was too small to handle I just put it on top of the next bar, they solidify and no waste! Highly recommend.

    Absolute favorite!

    In addition to the quality of the soap, (great for the skin, a lot of foam) the smell is my absolute favorite.. It lingers on the skin for longer than the other soaps that I've tried from here. My bundle will always include at least one of these. ★★★★★

    Bright and uplifting

    This lemongrass tea bar is incredible. It is the perfect blend of bright citrus and earthy herbs, making it smell like a luxury spa. The tiny bits of rosemary leaf give it a nice touch, and it lathers up perfectly without drying out your skin. It is such a great, fresh bar for everyday use.
