Materials: Crew Socks: 37% Cotton 34% Nylon 26% Polyester 3% Lycra | Ankle Socks: 50% Cotton 45% Nylon 1% Polyester 4% Lycra.

Care Instructions: Machine wash warm, hang them dry. Because stretchy synthetic fibers like lycra can be degraded by heat over time, your socks will keep the same stretch longer if you don’t dry them in a dryer. But, if we’re being honest, most of us dry them in the dryer and it seems to turn out fine. Don’t iron them, you only have one life to live and you don’t need to be spending time ironing socks.

Billing: When you subscribe, you’ll be billed for your first pair of socks which will ship by the end of the current month. On the first of each following month, you’ll be billed again and you’ll get your socks shipped to you by the end of that month.

Shipping: Your first order will ship within 3-5 business days. Shipping is free in the United States and $5 USD for international subscriptions. Socks ship as flats. Domestic orders typically take 1-2 weeks to arrive once they’ve shipped. International orders may take up to 6 weeks.

Where it Comes From

From Pen to Sock

The Awesome Socks Club comes from two places. The pens of the incredibly talented artists we work with, and Pacific Manufacturing in Haining, China. Each month we work with a new independent artist who gets full control of the sock as their canvas. Once they’ve perfected the artwork, we send it to the talented craftspeople in Haining who specialize in producing high quality garments - Seriously, our socks don’t wear out.

The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from The Awesome Socks Club go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    The Absolute Best Socks that Aren't Even Just Socks

    Anyone who says that the perfect toe seam is perfect is telling the dog's-honest truth — it is perfect.

    It would be enough if they were *just* really good socks, or even if they weren't amazing socks but still funded the global health project that they do, or even if neither were true and the art was still cool, but the fact of the matter is: they are all three, and then some. I first subscribed for the full 2022 year, and I still have socks from FOUR YEARS AGO with no holes that I wear on regular rotation. (The socks in the photo are from June 2022!!) These socks have held up so well that, reluctant to end my subscription, I've transferred it to my brother as his holiday gift for the last two years. He's now reaching his Sock Maximum, so I'll have to pick a new recipient soon.

    I love that single pairs of the subscription socks can be bought so my brother and I can match when a really cool pair is announced. (For what it's worth, we've had some trouble with UPS Mail Innovations losing packages at a distribution center, but Good.Store has always been helpful at resolving these situations.)

    I wear a women's 9 and subscribed for the M/L (Women's 9-12.5/Men's 8-12) pairs. They fit comfortably and I never found them to stretch out too much. My brother wears a men's 12 and gets the L/XL (Women's 12.5-15/Men's 12-14.5) — likewise, he doesn't find them to stretch out over time, they stay snug and comfy.

    my fave thing

    I can't describe how ridiculously delightful it is to get a little surprise for my feetsies every month - best thing I ever bought. you can use them to make goofy rituals for yourself and channel the vibes of whatever sock you're wearing on that day...now I have specific memories associated with specific socks to up the glamour magic. took me most of my life to realize socks are an instantaneous way to feel better. they are also fantastic slide-y socks for dancing on slick surfaces.

    Love both clubs!

    I’ve been subscribed to the Awesome Socks Club since the very start when it had its own separate website, and jumped right on board when the Undies Club started too. The subscription has always been great quality, and i absolutely love seeing and wearing all the different artist’s designs.

    the awesomest socks

    i have been an awesome socks club member for over 4 years now, and i have loved every month! it is so exciting to get my new socks and guess what the pattern is going to be. and i love having so many socks now that i can always match a pair with my outfit. i get so many compliments every time i wear them. i even had to get a shoe organizer for the back of my door to house all my awesome socks. some may say that this is too many socks. but i think they are just jealous. not only are the socks super cool but they are also really comfortable. especially when you first get them, it's like putting your feet into a cloud. as you can see i still need to work on organizing them by color, but i really like being able to look at all my socks every day displayed like this. join the awesome socks club now!!
