Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of The Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Great smell and so soft!

    These soaps smell so lovely and are super soft even on sensitive skin. I only docked a star because we ordered 4 bars and one of them wasn't what we ordered, but it still smells good (just not my personal favorite). I feel like a dryad when I hop out of the shower, awesome soap!

    Smells Super Fresh

    Really loved this scent. It’s so refreshing and clean smelling. Also leaves hands well moisturized. Would recommend you try it out if you like to take a nice refreshing shower in the morning.
