Ingredients: Saponified oils of sunflower, coconut, sustainable palm; essential oils of orange, clary sage, tangerine, and litsea; shea butter; mica; annatto seed; rosemary extract.

Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

Great Soap for a Good Cause

The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Smells like Froot Loops??? (in a good way)

    This soap feels lovely and smooth and also of course does the job of cleaning my body. BUT the most important thing about it is that somehow this Trailblazer soap smells EXACTLY like Froot Loops? I made my husband smell it and he agrees. This is not a bad thing. I love it.

    The platonic ideal of soap

    This is the perfect smelling soap. It's mild and hydrating - my baby can't do Johnson and Johnson soaps, or dove, but trailblazer works great for them. Their skin has improved a lot since we switched, and everyone in the family uses way less lotion now too.

    Also the smell. I cannot overemphasize how good this soap smells. The baby has tried to lick it, and I totally get it.
