Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Great Soap for a Good Cause

    This soap, like all soap I've ordered from Good Store is just fantastic. Lasts about a month when shared between two people, and each flavor smells fantastic. I can't recommend enough (and even got some for dad for Christmas. He gives his seal of approval as well).

    smells so good!

    These soaps are excellent! I was nervous with my first purchase because my skin is sensitive and typically hand made soaps dry it out, but Sun Basin soaps (we're on our 3rd bar) are super moisturizing and don't leave a film behind. They all smell wonderful, and I even use them for shaving because the coconut oil ams Shea butter are so good to my skin.
