Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     Gentle Mint

    Sun Basin Soap is amazing. It is effective, but so much gentler in my skin than the Softsoap I was using before. Since switching, my hands are less dry and less prone to eczema flares! The scent of this soap is minty but not obnoxiously so. Will definitely buy again!

    you have no bad options on this site

    I used Dove and Old Spice products from like, 6th grade til Graduate school and on my first soap bar I kept talking about how I'd never felt cleaner. Try them all! Gift them! What's the harm in doing and smelling good?

    Just what I'm looking for!

    As someone with almost no sense of smell, the menthol in Snowmelt is strong enough that I actually get to enjoy the scent I'm using! However, it's also simple and fresh enough that the soap is hitting the perfect balance to not be overpowering either. Regarding exfoliation and hydration, it's good standard soap--no negatives.
