Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     Nice smell, great clean

    I bought a variety of soaps from the Good Store, and this smell has been one of my favorites so far. The spiced scent smells so warm, like cooking on a winter day. The soap is fragrant but not too strong, which is nice. The soap itself lathers up nice and seems to be pretty concentrated compared to other brands of bar soap, seeing as I use less of it compared to those other bars. It cleans well, leaves no residue, and smells great. :-)

    Superb spicy scent

    This soap smells AMAZING!! I cannot get over how delicious all of the soaps smell, and I love how smooth the texture of the lather is! Truly the best soap I've tried, and I will be coming back for more when my current stash runs out.

    soap, more like,, soup,,,

    I really liked the description of the smell of this soap, so I took a gamble and ordered it when I ran out of my usual Sun Basin soap. Unfortunately the star anise, ginger, and lemongrass in this one combine to make a scent that reminds me very powerfully of pho, and I don't particularly want to smell like soup. I'll be giving this one away and reordering a new bar of Daydreamer!
