The liminal air of a spring evening, potential held in every breath. Rain smearing panes of glass, the wind coaxing each drop into a vertical river basin. Birdsong when the clouds have cleared. Steam from the pavement. A smooth rock, polished by 100 years of tides.

Enigma

The Enigma is hiding a secret. A subtle smile, a sidelong glance, what do they know that we don’t? It is probably that their skin is beautifully smooth and hydrated without the distracting scents of Sun Basin’s other soaps.

The Enigma bar soap is packed with the same sumptuous butters and oils as our other soaps sans the scent. Meaning that it leaves the skin supple, clean, and smooth, but maintains an air of mystery. Try it out.

Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

The founding goal of The Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Meh

    I suppose in the end, it does the job. However, the formulation for this soap makes it difficult and slow to rinse off the body. That's fine if you like to linger in the shower, but I tend to be in a rush, so it's not ideal for me.

    Does the job but I prefer the scented

    I normally go for unscented products, but I don't find this is plain enough. It doesn't have the pure, utilitarian-ness of a plain white bar, and the other soaps I tried had nice smells that didn't bother me. I won't be getting this one again, but that's not to say it's a bad product, just not for me. Keep up the good work! DFTBA!
