Enigma

The Enigma is hiding a secret. A subtle smile, a sidelong glance, what do they know that we don’t? It is probably that their skin is beautifully smooth and hydrated without the distracting scents of Sun Basin’s other soaps.

The Enigma bar soap is packed with the same sumptuous butters and oils as our other soaps sans the scent. Meaning that it leaves the skin supple, clean, and smooth, but maintains an air of mystery. Try it out.

Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     Good Daily Soap

    I always use unscented soap for regular hand washing because my pets don't love the smell of scented soap so this is perfect. I love the design too. It's so pretty! Which is also nice if it's sitting in a soap dish on your counter like mine :)

    It does vary in how it looks. Neither bar I've gotten looks exactly like the photos but it's still so pretty.

    Magic for my hands

    I finally decided to buy some soap that wouldn't make my hands peel, dry out and crack all winter, and I'm so glad I did. My hands stay way more moisturized than the $2 soap at walmart. I also have sensory issues, so the unscented option is really nice for when I can't handle any scents on my hands at all.

    Nice, but still not hypoallergenic

    It has a light rosemary scent and lathers nicely. I enjoy using it, but I don't have sensitive skin. For people with sensitive skin, it's not completely hypoallergenic, unfortunately. A bar I left on a little use sink became yellow tinged after a few months, but that discoloration rinsed off easily.
