Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of The Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     Relaxed and Cinnamon

    It is a very nice soap. I used it with a sponge and it bubbled very quickly and a lot, plus because it is a bar, it was less likely I use too much and waste a bunch, which is a problem I have with shower gel. It smells very much of cinnamon and I think the citrus comes out the more you use it. The body feels very relaxed after. Would be fantastic as a gift!

    Smells amazing

    This soap smells SO GOOD. It's also super mild and hydrating. I can use it on myself, and my baby and toddler. Als,o my husband uses it and likes it, but he can use any kind of soap so it's less impressive but still very good!

    For a 3rd time, the soap smells so good.

    This soap smells so good, and makes such a rich, creamy lather! I love it, I never want to use any other soap ever again. I was worried about the scent because I'm sensitive to smells, especially artificial ones, but it's not overpowering at all, smells great in the shower, and doesn't linger too long after.

    This soap smells so good. At first cinnamon and cardamom mostly, and the more you use it the more it smells like blood orange. The lather is awesome and goes a long way specially if you're a washcloth/loofah person. Genuinely makes showering not feel like a chore. I can't go back to Dove's bs now especially cause this supports a small business and not f*#%ing Unilever.
