I have been using Blueland foaming hand soap for about a year, but when Good.Store started making hand soap I was really excited. I've not been able to justify the expense of upgrading my socks, body soap, or coffee game, because at this point I am still really bargain hunting in those areas. However, the foaming hand soap was a direct swap! So, I was really excited to use my final Blueland disc because that meant it was time to start the Good.Store soap subscription.
I got the peppermint scent and really enjoy it. It's a very mild scent, great for kitchen hand soap because you might be about to eat food and don't want a heavy scent on your hands. I love how soapy it feels -- it really gives a good soapy film on your hands so you really feel like it's washing your hands, not just rubbing suds around, if that makes sense.
Another thing I love is that Meliora (the brand that creates the G.S hand soaps) gives a MEASUREMENT for how much water to use to dissolve the tab, instead of just a line on the side of the bottle. This is great because you can easily use a different soap dispenser without having to do the math of: pouring water into an empty bottle, pour that water into a measuring cup, to determine how much water Blueland requires to correctly dissolve its tabs.
I'm excited to see if G.S eventually includes a wider collection of scents. Peppermint is lovely but one thing that is nice about Blueland is their seasonal scents. As someone who is decidedly not a member of…
