    I love this so much!

It works really well to clean my dishes! Smells nice and gives the kitchen a very clean smell. I use it with the brush and also my Scotch Brite scrub sponge because its convenient size and shape makes it easy to use with any kind of cleaning implement. I also have the soap block and the soap cube sticks nicely, so I can use the brush or sponge and cover them with enough soap without even moving it. Seriously, I love it! Admittedly I'm a little obsessed because it smells and works great, and I can order these via subscription so I don't have to search them out of worry about re-ordering anything.

    Unexpectedly pleasing

I am so used to liquid dish soap that I never thought about using a bar to wash the dishes. I have been pleasantly surprised though! I use it with my favorite Scrub Daddy sponge and it sudses up nicely and cleans my dishes well. I do find I need to reapply to my sponge slightly more often than when using liquid detergent. I’ve also not quite figured out what to do with the tiny nub when I reach the end, but maybe I will save them up and re-mold them or something. Overall I have been very pleased and I love not being dependent plastic bottled soap.

    It’s weird, but good.

It takes some time to get used to using this soap. It doesn’t produce suds to any great extent, so you just have apply some and then scrub or hand rub the dish surface until it’s squeaky clean. And you can use very little soap at a time for each dish or utensil. This direct application of small amounts of soap seems to work much better than trying to work it into a cloth or sponge and apply it that way. The brush they sell with it works well for anything stuck onto a pan or whatever. And the soap does leave that microfilm of ‘waxiness’ that people have mentioned, but once dried it’s not greasy or anything, so it’s ok. You can mix the soap with a spritz of cleaning vinegar to get glasses more clear looking if they end up seeming cloudy because of the film effect. Now that I’m used to how the soap works, I like using it.

    Surprisingly Sudsy

I've been trying alternatives to regular dish soap. I've tried a powder one and this one. This one is convenient to use and lasts a lot longer than powder soaps. It gets surprisingly sudsy and cuts through all of the grease. Also the packability is very good for when we go camping.
