Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of shampoo that are good for your hair and your soul.

    A pleasant surprise.

    I was a little apprehensive trying my first shampoo bar, I pick this up while I still had plenty of my normal shampoo at hand just incase I didn't like it. But I was pleasantly surprised I really like the shampoo bar. It lathers very nicely and leave my hair feeling clean.

    Works well, scent isn't my favorite

    My hair feels great after using it, just as with all the other shampoo bars I've tried from Good Store. The scent is a bit strong for me and feels almost clinical. My mom thinks it smells great though so thats much more of a personal preference.

    Amazing so far

    I have very fine hair, and I struggle with birth dandruff and oily hair. I've tried more shampoos than I can count, and they always either dry out my hair, leave it oily after only 1 day, or don't help my dandruff. I've only used this for a couple of weeks, but so far it's way better than anything else I've tried!! It leaves my hair fresh and clean and I don't have to wash literally every day.
