Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     Slightly Licorice Forward

    A bit too much star anise smell for my taste, it sort of over powers the rest. Otherwise a solid bar of soap.

    Doesn't Smell Like Pimm's

    I was intrigued by this bar when Hank mentioned that it smells like / was inspired by Pimm's liqeur --- but I was disappointed upon finding out that it does not smell anything like Pimm's...

    Don't get me wrong, it's still a good bar of soap that lathers well, but I just don't like the scent that much.

    Pimms In A Bar

    Like a Pimms Cup if it was turned into a soap bar. I find the 'scratch'/exfoliant level on this one isn't too much for me personally, just enough to get a good back scratch and feel clean. The smell is wonderful, but not too powerful. This has been an excellent bar to add to my rotation to enjoy a variety of scents every month.
