Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of shampoo that are good for your hair and your soul.

    No problems!

    This works just as well as the standard conditioner I’ve been using before. (I was usually using Aussie.) It smells great - minty but not overwhelming. No complaints!

    To say my expectations were high for this conditioner bar is an understatement. I was one of the people literally begging them to make a conditioner bar for a couple years now, having tried a handful over the years and always a bit disappointed. Plus their shampoo is SOOO good so I had faith this could be as well, and it absolutely is!!! It easily and quickly lathers into my hair and washes out well, leaving my hair nice and smooth to brush right out of the shower. It’s too soon to tell how long it will last but seems like a while since the bar hasn’t noticeably shrunk at all yet. And the rosemary mint smell is divine and perfectly tingly/cool on my scalp. Truly no notes except to please never stop making this bar. I am so happy to get all my shower products from good store now!

    Great Solid Conditioner

    I just used my new conditioner bar for the first time and was super pleased with it. Beautiful smell, detangles well, and incorporates easily with wet hair. All that remains to be seen is how long the bar will last, but I expect it will last as long as (if not longer than) the shampoo bar, based on how little I needed to work with it to get an adequate amount into my hair.
