Why This Product

Thrushsong Oolong

Thrushsong Oolong is a soft-spoken classic with a voice all its own. Delicately light at first sip, it settles into a mellow, uplifting richness that lingers just beneath the surface. There’s a quiet rhythm to it—like birdsong at dawn—that makes each cup feel like a moment worth keeping. Try it out.

Where it Comes From

Sustainably Steeped

This gently roasted leaf has been imbued with a dash of natural flavoring, rather than true ginseng. Once prized for its restorative properties, wild ginseng has been pushed to the edge by decades of overharvesting. Our partners believe in building a sustainable tea trade, which means staying away from endangered and overharvested ingredients—out of respect for the land, and for the future of tea itself.

Where the Money is Going

Combatting Deadly Disease

Tuberculosis is the deadliest infectious disease of all time. In honor of John Keats and the billion people who’ve died of TB in the last two centuries, 100% of the profits from Keats & Co will fund tuberculosis testing and treatment through a new program with Partners in Health.

    One of My Favorites!

I wasn't sure how I felt about this tea the first time I had it (it smelled almost skunky to me), but now it's one I keep coming back to. I love that the tiny little dried pieces unfurl into full leaves.

I drink this more than water now

My new favorite tea of all time. It's perfect and I genuinely have been drinking this tea, hot and iced, basically as my water. Just opening the bag and smelling it is a lovely experience, and it also does well as a cold brew overnight in the fridge!

    Sweet-smelling, and tasty

It has a sweet smell, almost like vanilla. But the scent doesn't overwhelm the oolong taste. It just enhances the scent when you open the package. Delicious!

    Weird Natural Flavorings

Not sure what is in the ‘natural flavoring’ of this tea, but I don’t love it. Is it bee pollen? Would rather have a straight Oolong. I’ll use it up since I have it, but it’ll go in summer iced teas where the quality doesn’t matter so much.
