Why This Product

Blue Fields Earl Grey

Blue Fields Earl Grey is a luxurious take on the world's most popular tea. The leaves are visually stunning, studded with deep blue cornflower petals that make brewing the tea a beautiful experience. Upon steeping the tea delivers the delicate bergamot notes expected from an Earl Grey, with a surprise vanilla finish that smoothes out the entire cup. Try it out.

Where it Comes From

Around the World in Three Teas

This blend is a globetrotting mix of teas from Colombia, India, and Nepal. Grown at different elevations and in different soils, each of these teas bring their own unique element to the blend, resulting in a delicious brew.

Not only do these farms produce incredible teas, they also partner with local wildlife preservation initiatives in their area to make their farms a haven for endangered species. This includes making wildlife passages for elephants, reforestation efforts for bird populations, and fair pay for workers with opportunities for education to discourage poaching.

Where the Money is Going

Combatting Deadly Disease

Tuberculosis is the deadliest infectious disease of all time. In honor of John Keats and the billion people who’ve died of TB in the last two centuries, 100% of the profits from Keats & Co will fund tuberculosis testing and treatment through a new program with Partners in Health.

    A superlative surprise

My first product review in at least two decades, but worth coming out of retirement. Back then, too, I wrote a blog about tea (defunct but still hanging out quaintly at http://teasquared.blogspot.com/, fwiw), and I’ve sipped a LOT of Earl Greys. At the end of my Keats subscription packet of this one I can confidently declare that this is the most sublime and delicious of the storied royal title. A lot of them try to come on strong with the bergamot or other flavors to be showy or trendy; this one instead dials up the vanilla undertones that seem to come from the actual quality of the tea itself. It’s so perfectly balanced I do a little jig with each cup. All hail the Earl of Keats!

    Opened a fresh bag

I already was anticipating a cup of the blue fields earl grey one morning, and then I opened a fresh bag of leaves and the aroma was just amazing. Truly a delicious blend in every way!

    My Favorite Tea!

Blue Fields Earl Grey is my favorite tea. It is such a nice ritual to make in the morning (or any time that I need something cosy). I will say that I don't like to steep as long as the package says, though if I want a second cup after the first its generally ok and I use the same leaves.
