Why This Product
An easy way to make a meaningful change to your daily routine? Start with what you reach for most. These paper towels and toilet paper are both made from bamboo—one of the fastest-growing plants on earth, renewing itself in just a few years without replanting. Unlike traditional paper products that rely on old-growth forests, this option keeps those vital ecosystems standing, while delivering the same softness and strength you expect. Thoughtfully sourced bamboo, wrapped in plastic-free, recyclable packaging: it's a small switch that protects something much bigger.
Where it Comes From
Toilet paper shouldn’t come at the cost of ancient trees. For decades, large paper companies have relied on old-growth forests. There are irreplaceable ecosystems that store carbon, protect biodiversity, and can’t simply be replanted. (It’s a system worth questioning!) That’s why we partner with Save Trees. They're working to protect these vital forests by choosing materials that don’t rely on cutting them down. By shifting to fast-growing, renewable bamboo, we help keep old-growth ecosystems intact while still delivering the everyday essentials you count on.
Where the Money is Going
100% of profits from our Paper Towel and Toilet Paper products go to the Coral Reef Alliance, specifically the Maui Watershed Restoration project. The Coral Reef Alliance tackles the complexity of coral reef die-offs by working in and out of the water. The Maui Watershed Restoration project is a land based project to reduce sediment runoff that blocks sunlight from reaching the coral reefs of Hawai'i.
This is my first time using bamboo. It is definitely not the cheapest choice, but it is not meant to be. It's meant to be a conscious, better-for-the-planet choice. Both the toilet paper and the paper towel (attached image of paper towel) have a texture side and a smooth side. The textured side on the toilet paper is not as aggressive as the paper towel, but it is...feel-able, so just a heads up. Side by side, both are definitely noticeably less soft than my previous paper towels or toilet paper (Kirkland and Charmin Ultra Strong, respectively), but they still do the job and are not rough by any means. I'm glad I gave them a try. If nothing else, they made me aware of other companies using old growth forests for their products, which makes me want to be more conscious of what brands I choose to purchase, even if I don't ultimately stick with this one.
I've been wanting to switch for awhile but wasn't quite sure what brand, what was hype and what wasn't. As soon as it was available here, I knew I had to get it!
Towels and TP work great so far and I really like that the wrapper and the cores can be composted!
Feels a little different than standard TP, but no less effective.
I wish it wasn't a temporary product because I would be a regular subscriber.
Both TP and PT and soft and smooth, the paper toweling meets all your absorbency expectations and it's perforated to tear into tall skinny sheets, so you're not using a big square for every job. The toilet paper is soft and has enough sturdiness to it that you don't end up leaving bits behind.
Great product, I would buy again,
