5lb Bag - Arabica Coffee - Whole Bean or Ground

Each bag makes approximately 146 cups of coffee. If you order more than one 5lb bag they will each ship separately.

The ground coffee has a medium-coarse grind that works best with filter and immersion brewing like automatic brewers, pourovers (like the V60), french press, etc.

Whole bean coffee gives you the choice to grind your coffee the way you want. Can be used with immersion brewing like automatic brewers, pourovers (like the V60), french press, espresso, etc.

Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Keats & Co was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    Average coffee

    The coffee is fine, not bad, not great. For the price, (especially when adding duties etc), it costs considerably more than buying specialty roasted coffee locally. I've tried to find out approximately how much of purchase price goes to donations but I only get boiler plate response "100% of profits". If the profit margin is too low, I'm better off continuing to shop locally and donate my savings personally. However good store refuses any transparency regarding this. Gross income/donations=the number I'm looking for.

    Strong bold flavor

    I am quite picky about my coffee when it comes to acidity so I am always hesitant to buy new beans unless I have had the coffee in a cafe or someone’s house and know that there’s no acidity. But I love and trust the Green brothers so not only did I buy some of these beans sight unseen (or taste un-sipped) I got the five pound bag! The gamble was worth it because it was one of the smoothest sips I have had in a while and the whole family enjoyed it! Will be purchasing again!

    Honest coffee

    I'm really enjoying this coffee and smooth tasting and smells amazing. The 5lb bag lasts me 3 months and was the same price as my other coffee. I love that 100% of its profits go to charity and use fair labor. So thankful for the goodstore!

    Morning smells like hope!

    My whole morning routine revolves around my coffee worship. I get the water...then measure and ground the beans...the aroma is my heaven. While it brews I think about the hands that picked it and the people who work so hard to grow it. I thank them. Then I thank Hank & John for giving me a way to feel good about where my money goes. I pour my first cup and.. all is ok. Delicious, Dark and fuel to face the day.
