Make your favorite summer drink with this Mason Jar Strainer. Use it to make delicious cold brewed coffee or steep loose leaf tea. Perfect for easy, summer drinks on the go!

Includes:

  • Two different silicone seals in order to make it leak proof. Use only one at a time.
  • Stainless steel filter
  • Stainless steel lid

Only use the "wrap around" silicone seal that seals both sides of the metal filter (against glass and lid). This seal is optional if you keep the jar upright.

Instructions:

Cold Brew Coffee - To make cold brew coffee concentrate, fill the filter tube about 3/4 full with coarse ground coffee, to allow for swelling. Pour in cold water to fill jar and allow it sit on your counter or in your fridge for 24 hours.

Loose Leaf Tea - To steep loose leaf tea, combine 1-2 teaspoons of your favorite tea with 6-8 oz of cold water and place in fridge. Steep white or green tea for 6 to 8 hours; steep black or oolong tea for 8 to 12 hours depending on desired strength.

Hot Coffee or Tea - You can also use this filter to make hot coffee and tea. Put the grounds or leaves in the filter, pour in 200 degree water, and wait a few minutes.

Once brewing/steeping is complete, remove the filter, dump grounds/leaves into your compost, pour over ice, add your favorite coffee/tea additions and enjoy

All parts are dishwasher safe.

    Simple, cleanable!

    I have been hunting for something like this after another one I had (one that had a strainer lid that screwed on a mason jar) rusted and got gross! So I’m excited that this one is made of a good quality steel that claims it’s rust resistant. Thoughtful design, with 2 different gaskets depending if you are steeping or storing the tea afterwards. I like that they are removable and can be cleaned. Now I’m cold brewing again like a pro!

    Great summer drink companion

    I'm enjoying iced tea this summer, and this larger strainer is convenient for bigger capacity drinks with ice. The best thing is that it works with mason jars you've got at home!

    LOVELY idea, hope they come back in stock

    I snatched one of these before they ran out, even though I didn't actually HAVE a quart-sized mason jar. And then I found I could only buy them online in packs of 12. But it's not like you can't find other uses for them and I found a couple of sip-lids at the same place I got the jars so now I get to put the tea in the jars in the fridge overnight, take them out in the morning and split it into two jars for my mother and I to add creamer and ice to, and then I enjoy it all day. Nothing beats drinking out of a mason jar either. Great addition to the Keats & Co. lineup, would totally buy another one so I could have two different teas brewing every night. Only thing I wish is that the package came with the brewing instructions currently only listed online. It's not a huge thing, it just meant I had to consult my phone the first couple of times I used it.

    Have been waiting for this

    I have a perfectly brewed jar full of tea waiting in my refrigerator. An important thing to note, it is not recommended to brew tea on the counter for long periods of time. That can encourage bacteria growth. Put it in the refrigerator and it will be fine. Brewing hot tea on the counter in a short amount of time is safe.
