Local Experts

We work with Lake Missoula Tea Company, a local tea shop, blender, and wholesaler to source all of our teas. Lake Missoula Tea is an established favorite in the Missoula community, with many of our staff frequenting their downtown shop before we even considered opening a tea subscription. In addition to being a local favorite, Lake Missoula Tea shares the Good Store’s values around sourcing with their suppliers, meaning that we’re able to partner with farms that are leading the way with fair labor practices and environmentalism in their regions.

    Not "great for gifting"

    I love Good Store and their mission but I want to share my experience so others are not surprised. This sample pack is just 6 zip-top bags of tea. The teas are great! But to be a good gift, some better packaging is needed. They aren't packaged together and nothing says "sample pack" so it kind of looks like you're gifting a handful of free samples. This also feels like a missed opportunity to create a new Keats & Co lover (which is my goal).

    Good mix, some more unique than others

    Blue fields earl grey is my unexpected favorite! Never gravitate towards earl grey but it's such a nice sweet and rich combo. The other two black teas are nice, no complaints. The green teas are the most 'average' tasting, but still a good swap from green teabags.

    Worth a Try

    Even if you aren't a "tea person" then its still worth it to try all of these. I found some that I really like, and I had fun doing a tasting with my wife. We could make two cups of each flavor and they were all thoroughly enjoyable. I've bought several of my favorites individually afterward.

    Some good some bad

    I like the minimalist packaging. I like some of the tea, but Earl Grey is my favorite tea and I've had so many types. I can't say it's very good. There's something quite off about the mixture and it doesn't give much bergamot. I don't know. Kind of tastes minty (not my favorite taste). But other teas are in line with my expectations of how they should taste. So it is good overall. I'm very happy it goes to a good cause and it is ethical. Thank you.
