Where It Comes From

Local Experts

We work with Lake Missoula Tea Company, a local tea shop, blender, and wholesaler to source all of our teas. Lake Missoula Tea is an established favorite in the Missoula community, with many of our staff frequenting their downtown shop before we even considered opening a tea subscription. In addition to being a local favorite, Lake Missoula Tea shares the Good Store’s values around sourcing with their suppliers, meaning that we’re able to partner with farms that are leading the way with fair labor practices and environmentalism in their regions.

Tuberculosis is the deadliest infectious disease of all time. In honor of John Keats and the billion people who’ve died of TB in the last two centuries, 100% of the profits from Keats & Co will fund tuberculosis testing and treatment through a new program with Partners in Health.

    Not "great for gifting"

    I love Good Store and their mission but I want to share my experience so others are not surprised. This sample pack is just 6 zip-top bags of tea. The teas are great! But to be a good gift, some better packaging is needed. They aren't packaged together and nothing says "sample pack" so it kind of looks like you're gifting a handful of free samples. This also feels like a missed opportunity to create a new Keats & Co lover (which is my goal).

    The smelly smell.. that's good!!

    I ordered this for a Christmas gift so unlike the lorax I can't speak for the teas, but the package smells SO GOOD, I have to imagine they will be just as quality in all other aspects. Good store does not disappoint!

    Was hoping for better.

    None of the decaffeinated options were flavorful enough to entice me to buy a large bag. Appreciate that there was a sample pack to allow me to figure that out without buying the large bags.

    Something for everyone

    I'm new to tea drinking -- my usual caffeine was energy drinks or premade cold coffee. But the costs were adding up, and it turns out that Hank's open enthusiasm about tea drinking is contagious. I ordered the sample pack to figure out what sort of tea I can see myself drinking regularly, and it turns out that I like quite a few different kinds! The different teas come in small pre-portioned bags, and instructions for tea prep are right on each bag, which really helped remove some of the "friction" of creating a new habit. If you or someone you care about is feeling "tea-curious," the sample pack is a great place to start.
