Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone.     Surprisingly good

    I have never used anything other than liquid or foaming products for shaving or moisturizing and this has surprising mileage for solid shave bar. Also the smell is 👍👍.

    Amazing for shaving!

    I usually use regular bar soap as lather for shaving with my electric razor and this is so much nicer. Really good lather and smells amazing!

    Good but may need a brush to get a full lather

    I just used this, and it worked great and made it a much smoother shaving experience. The only issue I ran into was it did not lather quite as much as I was expecting so it was slightly difficult to know when I had full coverage and was ready to shave. This could probably easily be fixed with a shave bowl and brush.
