These socks were born from the ideas of Alec Watson and brought to life by the pens of incredibly talented artists and designers, turning Alec’s niche fascinations into wearable art that’s both fun and functional.
The Good Store x Technology Connections socks sprang from Alec's own ideas, pulling inspiration in what he covers on his YouTube channel— from the mechanical, to the electronic, and even a few easter eggs in between.
Hayden Gough (He/Him) is a digital illustrator based in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a nerdy goofball who likes video games, anime, and horror-theming. He primarily works in Clip Studio Paint and Rebelle 7, depending on the project. His dream is to make art for games - board games, card games, video games - but he is happiest when he sees his art printed in the flesh.
Ashley Stoddard (she/her) has been an artist in the animation & games industries for 15 years. She has spent most of those years building strong teams and efficient art pipelines. Personally, she loves working on fantasy IPs and anything that involves dragons. Her favorite projects so far have been working on Critical Role's The Legend of Vox Machina and the upcoming Mighty Nein series. In her off time she enjoys hiking to waterfalls and reading.
Yvonne (she/her) is a Vietnamese American visual designer and illustrator passionately creating work inspired by simple joys. She has a penchant for adding vibrance and imagination into any medium she can get a hold of such as digital art, risographs, brand identities, and zines. Viewing design skills as creative problem solving tools, she utilizes them to foster community by bridging together audiences with the creative landscape
Bryn (they/them) is a nonbinary illustrator and designer originally from the Midwest, now operating out of the PNW. Their work is based in a love of people, whether that's representing a diverse array of characters for them to relate to or creating objects that accompany them every day at home, so they try to make things that are approachable and charming, even when they’re a little weird, too.
Hank Green is a co-founder of Good Store, science communicator, video creator and entrepreneur and artist.
