These Good Store x Technology Connections socks are proof that everyday things can be surprisingly delightful—you'll receive a surprise pair of socks every month for 12 months. Designed with Alec Watson and brought to life by independent artists, they’re socks that not only brighten your drawer, but also fund important healthcare projects in Sierra Leone.

Materials: Crew Socks: 37% Cotton 34% Nylon 26% Polyester 3% Lycra

Care Instructions: Machine wash warm, hang them dry. Because stretchy synthetic fibers like lycra can be degraded by heat over time, your socks will keep the same stretch longer if you don’t dry them in a dryer. But, if we’re being honest, most of us dry them in the dryer and it seems to turn out fine. Don’t iron them (you only have one life to live and you don’t need to be spending time ironing socks).

Billing: When you subscribe, you will be billed for all 12 pairs of socks. Your first pair will ship to you in January 2026. All subscription orders ship free. Domestic orders typically take 1-2 weeks to arrive once they’ve shipped. International orders may take up to 6 weeks.

Shipping: Your first order will ship to you in January 2026. Shipping is free worldwide. If you’ve got an address that receives mail, we can ship to it. Socks ship as flats. Domestic orders typically take 1-2 weeks to arrive once they’ve shipped. International orders may take up to 6 weeks.

Every dollar of profit goes toward building and staffing a better healthcare system in Sierra Leone. So whether you’re pairing them with a sharp suit, or at home diving deep into watching toaster reviews, these socks are a fun & functional way to help do some real good in the world.

Where it Comes From

From the Mind of Alec

The Good Store x Technology Connections socks sprang from Alec's own ideas, pulling inspiration in what he covers on his YouTube channel— from the mechanical, to the electronic, and even a few easter eggs in between. These concepts were brought to life by the pens of incredibly talented artists and designers, turning Alec’s niche fascinations into wearable art that’s both fun and functional.

And because socks weren’t enough to capture his love of everyday tech, it wouldn’t be a Technology Connections collab without also tackling a product Alec has done extensive research on: Dishwasher Powder!

One hundred percent of the profits from The Awesome Socks Club go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.
