Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

Soft Landing

We are donating 100% of profit from our spring seasonal soap to Soft Landing, a Missoula based charity. Soft Landing partners with the Missoula community to provide supportive and welcoming resources for refugees and immigrants as they navigate both the technical and social challenges of making a home in a new community.

This donation will be made in honor of Tim Ludicello, the founder of Botanie Soap.

    Still solid after forgetting in the mailbox!

    I forgot to pick up the soaps out of my mailbox for a few days in 110 degree heat and they were still solid! The packaging looking like it hadn’t leaked at all and all my other mail was still intact. I love how these soaps smell and clean, but I was really impressed at the quality to not melt!

    I love all the soaps from Sun Basin— great selection for my spouse and I to pick our favorite scents to use and gosh, the quality is out of this world. It’s not uncommon for a bar to last me a month because they lather well. My husband has sensitive skin and hasn’t had irritation from any of the bars.

    Dayspring is the bomb

    This is my second purchase of Sun Basin Soaps and this Spring Box contained some of my favorite soaps yet, including Dayspring which I want and need on the regular. Please please please make this a soap I can subscribe to or buy on it's own.
