Gets a little crusty but works well

Yeah, so predictably bits of the bag get kind of brown and crusty, which isn't gorgeous. This is mostly around the top and the string at the top. However, if you can get past that, it certainly works well. It helps the soap to lather well even before you need to use it to save the last little bits of soap, so I just put the whole half-used bar in there and it's nice. But I'll def have to wash it now and then.

Perfect use for Soap Saver Bag

This is a review of the soap saver bag. (By the way, if you ever notice a review that starts with the full name of the product, you can assume that person was paid for that review. Now I didn’t include the “Sisal” in the name, so you know I wasn’t paid for this. Oh, wait… But, no, I promise I was not paid for this!)

Now before I can tell you about the soap saver bag, I have to talk about the soaps from Good.Store. They are great. Except that super exfoliating one (the brown one). Unless you are a huge fan of Lava soap, you are probably not going to like that one. If you like exfoliation, get the blue one, instead. (I don’t remember the names of any of the soaps, as you can probably tell.)

Small soaps are annoying, but in the first season of the Simpsons, Lisa Simpson showed us how to solve this problem. (You: “Like, OMG! The Simpsons’ FIRST season? Isn’t that show, like, 30 years old?” No. It’s MORE than 30 year old. Now shut up.) In the episode, she had pressed all of the little soaps into one big soap, so they did not go to waste. So, the solution for the soaps from Good.Store is to press the old small soap into the new bar of soap and fuse them together. (You: “Isn’t this supposed to be a review of the soap bag?” Yes. I’m getting to that.) If you rub the soap directly on your body in the shower (the way nature intended), it is very easy to fuse the soaps. When the soap gets thin, get both the old soap and the new soap wet and press them together. Let them sit…

I'm obsessed with bar soap now

I got this product and it made a big difference.

Last year, I made the switch from liquid, plastic-contained body wash to bar soap and it was the best decision I made. I have become mildly obsessed with the solid form of soap, but I kept buying it at the same rate that I bought regular soap. It wasn't until I looked at the cabinet and saw I had a small stockpile of soap. This product is the reason that stockpile is still there. I am now on month three of the same bar of Sun Basin soap, and I think it might last me until April as this progresses. This bag is a wonder.
