Our single serve pods and packaging are FULLY COMPOSTABLE! So you can do good for the planet as well. GreenPods are made from components that have been certified for industrial compost facilities. You can compost these at home or check with your composting service to confirm they accept these as some facilities differ in what materials they can process. Our coffee pods can be used in most single-serve coffee machines. These pods do not have a barcode on them, so if your machine requires a barcode in order to make your drink, these will not be compatible.

Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Awesome Coffee Club was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    Smooth and dark

    This coffee has a nice dark flavor and a smooth taste. It's less aggressively dark than a Starbucks dark roast. How can I say it? Usually most coffee saying smooth would mean less dark. But this is like the most something could be both dark and still smooth. The weird k-cup compatible pod works fine in my Keurig, too, for what its worth.

    Delicious but Nespresso Essenza Mini incompatible

    I love this coffee & would recommend it to anyone! Beyond the taste, I especially love the compostable packaging, ease of website use, and responsive customer service. Unless, however, they use a Nespresso Essenza Mini (original) machine - I found the pods didn't fit - so now they'll make a great gift!

    I send a monthly pack to my parents every month..!

    This coffee has been one thing that continues to connect my parents and I even while being miles and miles away. I now go to Georgia to college and they’re in Ohio and I send them a monthly pack of this coffee and they love it and send me a picture of them smiling! Life is good. Thanks.

    Good coffee, great company.

    I’m not a coffee nerd, (I’m a nerd, just not a coffee nerd). Ordering was easy, delivery prompt and pods are completely compostable which is a huge win. Coffee is smooth and I made a fun at home PSL type thing by getting some Pumpkin Egg Nog which I warmed up and added to my coffee. Heaven in a teacup! We will be getting more, and you should too.

    The best quality K-cups out there!

    I like coffee, and I like convenience. I have several methods to brew coffee at home, but in the mornings I want it quick and easy, so I use my Keurig. It's usually not the best coffee, but oh well. Then I started getting Awesome Coffee Club, and it tastes like what I get at my local roasters. I recommend it to anyone who uses a Keurig, or any other method.
