Our single serve pods and packaging are FULLY COMPOSTABLE! So you can do good for the planet as well. GreenPods are made from components that have been certified for industrial compost facilities. You can compost these at home or check with your composting service to confirm they accept these as some facilities differ in what materials they can process. Our coffee pods can be used in most single-serve coffee machines. These pods do not have a barcode on them, so if your machine requires a barcode in order to make your drink, these will not be compatible.

Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Awesome Coffee Club was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    Lost in the mail

    I’m sure the coffee would have been as good as the socks, but I cannot confirm. It has been lost to the void between UPS and USPS and now taunts me with a delivery date always one day in the future.

    Best pods ever, just not fresh ground

    Got these for my son for his dorm room where he has a keurig. He loves them... best pods he has tried. Still not as good as the fresh ground Keats and Co coffee he is used to at home.

    Good coffee!

    Definitely the best tasting coffee I've had from a pod. Unless you want to invest in a superautomatic, I don't think you'll find a better option for instant no-effort brewing at home. I was skeptical of the compostable pods, but they work just fine in my Keurig. I do wish they weren't individually wrapped and that they came in a slightly smaller box, but generally I'm a happy customer.

    Smooth and dark

    This coffee has a nice dark flavor and a smooth taste. It's less aggressively dark than a Starbucks dark roast. How can I say it? Usually most coffee saying smooth would mean less dark. But this is like the most something could be both dark and still smooth. The weird k-cup compatible pod works fine in my Keurig, too, for what its worth.

    Delicious but Nespresso Essenza Mini incompatible

    I love this coffee & would recommend it to anyone! Beyond the taste, I especially love the compostable packaging, ease of website use, and responsive customer service. Unless, however, they use a Nespresso Essenza Mini (original) machine - I found the pods didn't fit - so now they'll make a great gift!
