EcoGeek is proud to partner with Meliora Cleaning Products, a woman owned business based out of Chicago, Illinois. Meliora Cleaning Products got its start when its founder Kate was studying for her Masters in Environmental Engineering. While searching for safe cleaning products for herself and her home, she realized that most mainstream products don't even list their ingredients. Armed with her engineering knowledge, Kate decided she was going to fix this and open up a sustainable, non-toxic cleaning brand that valued transparency to the core.

    Works great and no bleach stains!

    This worked much better than I expected it to, and it smells great also!

    I am always afraid when I am cleaning that I will end up staining my clothes with the cleaning product but I have no worries about this one. I cleaned the outside of my fridge, my sinks, my bathtub and toilets. The one issue I have is that it does leave a soapy residue so you do need to rinse it/wipe it off with a wet rag.

    Not simple to use

    This is great for cleaning things like showers, tubs, and sinks, but not for countertops. The baking sode clumps up, and even if you wet the surface well, you end up wiping little crumbs of it off onto the floor. It does a good job getting the surface clean, but I end up finding little white specs on the floor.
