Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    An Amazing Christmas Gift!

    My sister-in-law loves it! I'm also going to buy her some of the EcoGeek Products for her home. It smells amazing, and the soap-saver bag makes the stuff last!

    Very Nice Soap!

    These soaps smell very nice! I like the sample pack concept. I do wish though that there was an option of getting a label of some sort on the box they come in or an info sheet about them sent with it, as I plan on giving them as a gift and want the person to easily remember where they're from!

    Good Sampling!

    Got the sample pack for my fiancee for Christmas and we both liked all of the smells. Our favorite was the lemongrass tea (Tisane). Great product, good ingredients, not a bad price and so cool that the proceeds go to charity.

    Good size for traveling

    These are a good size for putting in a shower kit to travel with if you don't need much soap and don't want to put a full bar in your shower kit.
