Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

Great Soap for a Good Cause

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Very Nice Soap!

    These soaps smell very nice! I like the sample pack concept. I do wish though that there was an option of getting a label of some sort on the box they come in or an info sheet about them sent with it, as I plan on giving them as a gift and want the person to easily remember where they're from!

    Smells good!

    They smell great. I should have read the description as they are slightly smaller than I expected. But for $10 it's still a good deal.

    The whole family loves the soaps

    I was searching for a new source for soap and got the soap sample pack - my partner was immediately onboard (more scents more than the other) but now even the kid insists on using the sun basin soap instead of their own liquid soap. So now we can finally all use the same soap!

    so cool!

    i've always wanted to get soaps from good dot store, and this was a great way to start! all scents were lovely, and the soap bar sizes were perfect for the sisal bag. looking forward to buying more soap bars!
