Designs From the Vault, Just in Time for Cozy Season

Fan-favorite Good Store designs are getting a new life on bandanas, pajama bottoms, and onesies. | By Aly Krajewski

We are deep in the throes of a particularly cold fall where I live: a season that I love and long for during all other months, but also a time where I become acutely aware of how freakin’ cold my extremities get in the evenings. I run at a very chilled baseline (I myself am not chill, ironically) and have to do my due diligence to layer up as the year plods along. Don’t even get me started on my nighttime PJ needs, either–you will not see me outside of a fun pair of pajamas from now til the first spring thaw. Say goodbye to these gams until the summer solstice.

Lucky for me, and lucky for all of us, Good Store is launching a collection this week that will keep us all cozy and in style! This “From The Vault” collection features a series of designs pulled directly from past Awesome Socks designs, with plenty of fan favorites over the last 6 years on display. It’s Good Store’s first considered clothing collection, and though some may say I am biased beyond belief, I think it’s a pretty swanky first drop:

Bandanas

I’m a big fan of a clothing item that asks almost nothing of you. Bandanas are pretty universal: Tie it around your neck, knot it onto your bag, hang it somewhere in your home, or, perhaps most importantly, use it dress up a furry little roommate. I can confirm both of my cats look RIDICULOUSLY cute in these. These bandanas take some of our favorite Awesome Socks designs from the past six years and give them a whole new place to shine, with bold patterns that are just as fun off your feet as they were on them.

Fall feels like a pretty perfect time to bring out these bandanas, too. There’s something about crisp air, layers, and an increasingly complicated collection of things you need to wear before leaving the house that makes a good bandana feel right at home for me.

PJ Bottoms

If this season is good for anything, it’s giving us a socially acceptable excuse to spend an entire Saturday in pajamas. Our new PJ bottoms are made for movie marathons, lazy mornings, chilly evenings, and that increasingly common scenario where you realize it’s 2 p.m. and you have absolutely no intention of putting on real pants today. (Honestly? Good for you.)

We’re featuring a few of my absolute favorite past Awesome Socks designs on these PJs, too: from a gaggle of dancing animals, to a Whimsigoth sun and moon design, to a great black + white set, you’ve got options. They’re a soft, relaxed fit, and ready for whatever your fall plans look like.

Onesies

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I am a huge proponent of limiting the amount of laundry I have to do. And if you can turn two pieces of clothing into one, then that’s half the amount of laundry to do, and that’s just good math. We’ve got two onesies in this collection, both featuring Awesome patterns and ready to suit up with at the drop of a hat. I can confirm they are lovely and soft, and don’t make me feel like I’m in a chokehold at any opening.
