A Week in Sun Basin Soap

Exploring Natural Soap Bars Through the Days of the Week | By Aly Krajewski

Washing hands under a faucet with a marbled grey and white bar of soap.

Looking for a natural soap bar that does more than simply “get you clean”? A week with Sun Basin Soap reveals how the right scent can transform an ordinary routine into a daily ritual.

In my quest to make my everyday more exciting, I’ve found that switching up my Sun Basin soaps feels like a refreshing alternative to the synthetic body washes I’ve used for years. What other control do I really have other than making my self-care experiences a little more fun? Maybe it’s a bit impractical to have a bunch of soap bars open at the same time … and maybe I am a bit impractical myself. A fitting duo.

Here's what a week of showering with Sun Basin Soap has looked like for me.

Monday: Start Fresh with Trailblazer

Monday mornings are more often than not a challenge, but Trailblazer's bright citrus scent makes the start of the week feel a smidge lighter. With notes of orange and tangerine, it delivers an uplifting aroma reminiscent of sunshine, fresh fruit, and new beginnings. It's the perfect choice when you're looking to start the week with as much energy as you can muster.

Tuesday: Slow Down with Tisane

By Tuesday, my life often settles into its weekly rhythm, with routine and order falling into line. Tisane offers a grounding experience with herbal notes that feel inspired by a garden after rainfall. Tisane encourages a moment of calm amid my gogogo schedule, making it a favorite for those of us who appreciate botanical-inspired soaps and self-care rituals.

The soap is surrounded by fresh herbs: a sprig of rosemary stands tall to the right, and bright green mint leaves are placed at the base of the soap. Wednesday: Recharge with Navigator

Midweek’s usual melancholy sometimes calls for a reset. Navigator combines eucalyptus and mint to create a crisp, invigorating scent profile that helps awaken the senses. The cooling aroma feels clean, refreshing: ideal for early mornings when I need a little extra motivation. For fans of mint soap bars and spa-inspired scents, Navigator is the one.

The soap appears to have small specks or botanical elements embedded within it. Thursday: Embrace Possibility with Daydreamer

As the weekend begins to come into view, Daydreamer’s spice and bright citrus scent propel me towards the end of the work week with gusto. It's the kind of soap that transforms a routine shower into something worth looking forward to.

Friday: Celebrate with Garden Party

It’s Friday! The weekend! The real me comes alive! Time for a Garden Party to celebrate. Garden Party blends citrus and spice into a scent that feels festive without being overwhelming. This is the perfect, weird blend of scents that get me ready to go have a wonderful time with friends out on the town (read: likely at home with my cats).

Make Every Shower Something to Look Forward To

Sun Basin exists due to a deceptively simple thought: The best soap bars should become part of your daily routine in a meaningful way.

Whether you're drawn to the bright citrus of Trailblazer, the cooling freshness of Navigator, or the complex florals of Garden Party, Sun Basin Soap offers a scent for every mood and every day of the week. After all, if you're going to do something every day, it might as well be enjoyable.
