Local Experts

We work with Lake Missoula Tea Company, a local tea shop, blender, and wholesaler to source all of our teas. Lake Missoula Tea is an established favorite in the Missoula community, with many of our staff frequenting their downtown shop before we even considered opening a tea subscription. In addition to being a local favorite, Lake Missoula Tea shares the Good Store’s values around sourcing with their suppliers, meaning that we’re able to partner with farms that are leading the way with fair labor practices and environmentalism in their regions.

    Not "great for gifting"

    I love Good Store and their mission but I want to share my experience so others are not surprised. This sample pack is just 6 zip-top bags of tea. The teas are great! But to be a good gift, some better packaging is needed. They aren't packaged together and nothing says "sample pack" so it kind of looks like you're gifting a handful of free samples. This also feels like a missed opportunity to create a new Keats & Co lover (which is my goal).

    Perfect Sample Pack

    Multiple servings from each sample size! The resealable bags are perfect for storage. Absolutely worth the price and adorable for gifts. I loved trying out flavors/types of teas I wouldn’t typically buy larger portions of. The teas are strong, balanced, and have good depth.

    Loved it!

    It was perfect for trying the different kinds of tea offered and now I know which ones I want to buy more of!

    Breakfast, green, and earl grey were my favorites. But honestly all of them were very good.

    Herbals not bad, others underwhelming

    I love Earl Grey, so I was really looking forward to the Blue Fields Earl Grey in particular. I found both black teas and the April Meadows green tea underwhelming, even a little bit off. The flavor/scent might have been affected by being packaged with rooibos and/or chamomile teas, possibly; both herbs are often too medicinal for my taste.

    That said, I enjoyed both the Evensong Chai and Golden Fire Ginger a lot more than I expected, since the rooibos and chamomile flavors respectively didn't overpower the other ingredients in these blends. The Moonlight Mint also was nicely balanced and refreshing.

    I may give the other three another try separately.
