Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

    Smells just like a christmas tree

    This shampoo bar has lasted me for months, lathers well and leaves my hair smelling like Christmas. Can't wait to try out the other scents and would love to see a warm vanilla one in the future. Great sustainable alternative to shampoo bottles!

    Long Lasting Value

    I was originally unsure about using a shampoo bar, but I've changed my mind after using it. It lathers up nicely. The smell is great. It has a strong pine sent while washing, but it is not overbearing when you are done. It lasts surprisingly long; definitely longer than a bottle of shampoo. Overall an excellent value!

    Actually it's a ball! And works so well. I was skeptical but great lather and no residue is left in my hair. Love the scent which is really like juniper. I am still using conditioner, but that is cause I have it to use up.

    So Good I Got A Subscription

    I originally bought this shampoo bar as a treat for myself during the holidays. To my surprise, I fell in love with it. My hair was silky smooth, and the smell is amazing. The other thing I wasn't expecting was how long it lasted. While I do have short hair, it lasted me for the same length as about two bottles of shampoo would. When I finally used the old bar up I went back to my old shampoo and could tell a difference. I have a subscription now and am still in love with the soap.
