Why This Product

The Decaf

Decaf coffee has a bad reputation. Bland, unexciting, a sad shadow of its fully caffeinated sibling. We are looking to change this reputation with Paradoxa, a roast that lives up to its puzzling name. By using a sugar decaffeination method as opposed to harsh chemicals, we maintain the rich flavor of the coffee while removing that caffeine that has you up till 3 am. Try it out.

Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Awesome Coffee Club was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    fantastic roast, great for some late night brews!

    I've brewed a few espressos with this coffee, it's almost impossible to get a bad extraction with this stuff. Very smooth chocolatey flavor

    My New Favorite Coffee

    I've been searching for good coffee for a while now and I'm happy to say, the search is finally over. Paradoxa is my new favorite coffee! It's the only decaf coffee I've found that isn't bitter and still has a great flavor.

    A Decaf Delight!

    Seriously good stuff! As someone who loves a good cup of coffee but can't handle the caffeine buzz, finding a decent decaf has been a bit of a mission. Right when you open the bag, it smells amazingly rich and complex. The taste really brings those smells to life. It's got this nice nutty (and sometimes burnt marshmallow) thing going on. Honestly, if you're looking for a decaf that actually tastes like coffee, you HAVE to try this Paradoxa stuff. It's my new go-to!

    Great Coffee that helps us Sleep at Night!

    We've been on the Awesome Coffee train since the beginning, but wanted to take a moment to review the amazing product that we've been drinking all this time. Paradoxa Decaf Coffee by Keats and Co. is our go-to decaf coffee! It's got that punchy coffee flavor that we like in the afternoons without the concern of staying up the rest of the night. Also, because it's so ethically sourced we're not up worrying about whether the farmers and producers are starving while we snooze away.
