Our single serve pods and packaging are FULLY COMPOSTABLE! So you can do good for the planet as well. GreenPods are made from components that have been certified for industrial compost facilities. You can compost these at home or check with your composting service to confirm they accept these as some facilities differ in what materials they can process. Our coffee pods can be used in most single-serve coffee machines. These pods do not have a barcode on them, so if your machine requires a barcode in order to make your drink, these will not be compatible.

Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Keats & Co was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    You will notice the quality

    I've never been a person with sophisticated or particular taste. I have no idea what people are talking about when they say "tasting notes." So I put off ordering this for a while, because I thought I wouldn't be able to notice a difference between this coffee and cheaper grocery store brands. Well! I was wrong! The coffee is delicious, and not only have I subscribed for more pods, I've also ordered decaf so I can continue to drink it throughout the day.

    Great coffee!

    I really like this medium dark roast coffee. It has a great flavor maybe with some slightly nutty notes.I have been tossing some of the pods into my compost heap, but I can’t imagine the little plastic rings are gonna go anywhere so I would recommend cutting the paper off the ring and throwing the coffee in the paper in the compost. Anyway I really like that I can skip a month on my subscription or reschedule very easily and I love supporting the charities and DFTBA!

    Excellent coffee!

    This roast makes a perfect cup out of a Keurig. I love that it is sustainably grown and the packaging is compostable. My blueberry bushes are loving the used grounds as well!
