Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Keats & Co was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    Nice classic roast

    More of a medium roast in my opinion, but definitely a classic crowd pleaser.

    Best beans for my Barista Touch Impress espresso machine

    I recently bought the Barista Touch Impress machine, and these make the best tasting espresso. I tried 5 brands, including local roasters, and the Octavia - Medium/Dark Roast is by far my favorite.

    Great Coffee

    I have been drinking this coffee since it was "Awesome Coffee". Still drinking it with the name change to "Keats & Co."

    Different name still great coffee. I drink both the caffinated & decaf Ground.

    And it makes me feel good to know my purchases go to a great cause & 100% profits go charity.

    The Green brothers are phenomenal!

    Great Espresso Bean

    I've been using Octavia in my Breville Barista Express for espresso shots. The notes of chocolate really come out-- and it's fairly forgiving for a beginner like me. I'm using the 4 setting on my grinder and getting a 18g in 36g out shot in roughly 20-30 seconds! Perfect.
