When you join the Awesome Undies Club, you get a fresh pair of super comfy, super fun underwear delivered to your door each month. Every design is created by a different independent artist, so it’s a surprise that adds a little joy to your top drawer while also supporting great causes.

This month's undies were designed by Nick Nazzaro and will match the September Awesome socks. If you don't want the sock design spoiled, wait to open your undies!

Materials: 92% UltraModal, 8% elastane

Care Instructions: For best performance, hand wash cold and lay flat to dry. This will help to protect the colorfastness of the garment as well as the construction of the elastane fiber in the waistband.

If you must use a machine, wash on COLD and DELICATE, then tumble dry with LOW HEAT. Do not iron, bleach, or dry clean.

Billing: When you subscribe, you’ll be billed for your first pair of undies which will ship in 3-5 business days. Starting in October, you’ll be billed for your undies on the first of each month, and that order will ship by the end of that month.

Shipping: Your first order will ship in 3-5 business days. Shipping is free worldwide. If you’ve got an address that receives mail, we can ship to it. Domestic orders typically take 1-2 weeks to arrive once they’ve shipped. International orders may take up to 6 weeks.

Tax is not included.

Where it Comes From

A Collab with MeUndies

The Awesome Undies Club comes from two places. First, the minds of the amazing independent artists we partner with each month: each one turning a fresh pair of undies into a wearable work of art. Then, we team up with the experts at MeUndies, known for their softer-than-soft UltraModal™ fabric and commitment to sustainable, high-quality underwear. Together, we make sure every pair looks great, feels even better, and lasts wear after wear.

Where the Money is Going

Combatting Deadly Disease

The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from The Awesome Undies Club go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    No fly

The boxer briefs do not have a front fly.

    Front pouch 😅

The fabric is amazingly soft, and the designs are adorable. I ordered the boxer version, as, in the pictures, the female model wearing them seems comfortable, and its the style I prefer. When they arrived though, the front pouch area is much bigger than I normally get, even when buying men's pocket less boxers in the store. The extra fabric is a bit uncomfortable, and it sticks out so I can't wear tight skirts with them. Would there be a way to make a "pouchless" version?

They’re okay, but not designed for male physiology

These are the first pair of men’s underpants I’ve ever worn that apparently are not designed or intended for men. The sizing is two sizes too small compared to the sizing of mainstream brands. With Hanes and Fruit of the Loom, I wear a size large. I ordered these in 2XL because I expected them to run a little small, knowing I could change the size later. But even at 2XL, these are still uncomfortably tight in the waist. I suspect that the sizing is more in line with underwear designed specifically with women in mind.

Speaking of which, these underpants do not have any sort of flap or hole in the front. This makes it necessary to lower the entire waist of the underpants in order to urinate standing up, as most men do. That’s fine if you only wear athletic gear like sweatpants, but for those of us that wear grown-up clothes, this is a major inconvenience.

There is a little bit of extra cloth in the groin area that could provide a minimal amount of support for external genitalia, but it seems more like an afterthought. In fact, it feels like it may have been designed more to help secure menstrual products than anything else.

In all, I’m again underwhelmed by a Good Store product. The quality is pretty good, the product is sustainable, and the price is fair, but they are not intended for men and shouldn’t be marketed that way. The Good Store seems to focus their products more for customers who are women and there’s nothing wrong with that, but I wish they would realize that…

Good knickers with some shipping caveats

Got the undies last week. No feather in them, which is a lost opportunity, but what really hurts was that they arrived in a single use plastic bag wrapped in another plastic shipping bag. Please stop using single use plastic. Recycled paper would have been more than sufficient. If you’re gonna cater to a moral high ground, this is a basic bar for entry. Also not sold on the color, but the next shipment will determine if I keep the subscription.

    Not as Soft

The boxer undies that were previously sold by the Good store were softer and didn't have the extra cloth in the front of the boxers. That means the boxers that were previously sold by the Good Store were more gender neutral than these undies, and so I like them less.
