The Awesome Socks Club delivers artist-designed socks straight to your door, with each pair featuring original artwork by an independent artist! Every delivery is a little surprise, and every subscription helps fund important charitable work.

Where it Comes From

From Pen to Sock

The Awesome Socks Club comes from two places. The pens of the incredibly talented artists we work with, and Pacific Manufacturing in Haining, China. Each month we work with a new independent artist who gets full control of the sock as their canvas. Once they’ve perfected the artwork, we send it to the talented craftspeople in Haining who specialize in producing high quality garments - Seriously, our socks don’t wear out.

Where the Money is Going

Awesome Socks for a Good Cause

The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from The Awesome Socks Club go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    A little bit of happiness each month

    Love ‘em, but also flaws.

    Cool socks, cool designs, cool cause, but I got two big problems:

    1. the size. They run really small, I think. At a size 9 U.K. the recommended size are quite tight, so I went up to the largest worrying I’d be wasting my money and they’re just fitting fine, could be a bit bigger even. They still seem stretched over the top of the foot, like they could do with more width. So anyone with big honkin flippers, look out.

    2. undyed bits. The designs seem to include raw fabric as the light colour, and these pick up dyes from other clothes. I made the mistake of washing them with some new shorts and now all the light elements of the designs are a solid lilac colour where the other colours escaped mostly unharmed. One pair that were mostly white stayed white, oddly, but the raw element in the pattern still went purple. Other pairs that escaped that wash still seem to grey out in these areas pretty quickly.

    I’ll keep buying them though. They’re neat.
