The Good Store was founded by Hank and John Green on the belief that humanity can be good news. We’re searching the world for the best versions of the products that you use daily, made by the best people, and then we’re giving all of the profits from those products away to those who need it.
You're going to need to buy socks; you might as well do it in a way that brings a little joy to your doorstep every month while supporting independent artists and donating 100% of profit to charity.
Top shelf tea and coffee that is changing the world one sip at a time. Keats & Co adds a little good to your daily routine by donating 100% of the profit from every cup to fund long term tuberculosis treatment in Lesotho.
We partner with Botanie, a family run business out of Missoula, Montana, to bring you luxurious handcrafted soap and shampoo bars. Botanie uses all natural ingredients that leave you feeling nurtured, fresh, and ready to take on the day.
These socks are for the spring lovers. Can't wait for abundant flowers and big fluffy clouds? Pull this pair out of your sock drawer and add a little spring to your step. Make sure to grab a pair while supplies last.
"Somewhere Over Toe Rainbow" was designed by Itzel Islas for April of 2023.
Care Instructions: Machine wash warm, hang them dry. Because stretchy synthetic fibers like lycra can be degraded by heat over time, your socks will keep the same stretch longer if you don’t dry them in a dryer. But, if we’re being honest, most of us dry them in the dryer and it seems to turn out fine.Don’t iron them, you only have one life to live and you don’t need to be spending time ironing socks.
Everyone needs socks. But why settle for a solid color or gym sock when you can wear unique artistic creations on your feet. Whether they're a pop of color under a somber suit, or the anchor to your hot mess express grocery run, these socks are high quality, versatile, and just plain fun. Try them out.
Where it Comes From
From Pen to Sock
The Awesome Socks Club comes from two places. The pens of the incredibly talented artists we work with, and Pacific Manufacturing in Haining, China. Each month we work with a new independent artist who gets full control of the sock as their canvas. Once they’ve perfected the artwork, we send it to the talented craftspeople in Haining who specialize in producing high quality garments - Seriously, our socks don’t wear out.
Where the Money is Going
Awesome Socks for a Good Cause
The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from The Awesome Socks Club go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

Super fun design and super comfy!
I'm picky about my socks. So much so that I've worn basically the same, boring brand of socks for years because I didn't feel like I could trust other, much more fun-looking socks.
Well, Awesome Socks has broken that trend! These are super comfy, with just the right thickness for me, and the design is delightful. I love the playfulness of this pattern, and the colors bring a lot of fun to my normally pretty boring outfits.

Makes Life Happier :D
I like wearing my happiest and most unhinged designs to big presentations in class, or to interviews. I got these cloud socks from the monthly subscription, and they are one of my favorite designs that I have received. Because of that, I bought another pair for my mom's birthday, and she put them on and said "I can see why you like wearing fun socks. It makes you smile every time you look down!".
