Where the Money is Going

  • Why Sierra Leone?

    Sierra Leone has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world. In partnership with Partners In Health, we are trying to change this so that we can help ensure that every pregnant woman can look forward to childbirth as a moment to celebrate, not one to fear.

  • The MCOE

    Since the inception of Good Store, we have donated over $8 million to help fund the Maternal Center of Excellence (MCOE) in Sierra Leone. It broke ground in April 2021 and it was just announced that it will open it's doors to patients in January 2026!

  • Meaningful Change

    We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root. The hope is the new center will serve as a hub for global innovation in maternal health to be replicated in Sierra Leone and around the world.

Well-balanced and complex

There's a lot going on flavor-wise in this rooibos chai, and it's all extremely well-balanced. The cardamom and peppery notes blend so well. Great if you love chai but want something without caffeine, great if you like rooibos but want something more complex. I find that the steeping directions on the package work well for my palate.

My favorite soap!

I love all of the Good Store soaps, but this one is my favorite (so far). The smell is there, but not overpowering and it doesn't linger on my skin after my shower is over. All of the soap I've tried thus far leaves my skin feeling soft, not dried out, and clean. I'm lookong forward to switching my subscription around each month and trying all of the different scents.
