Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Excellent soap that gets the formula right

    I bought this soap roughly around the holidays, at the same time I bought a certain moist youtuber's soap offering as well. The quality difference was incredible. The Sun Basin soaps held up to daily use and didn't get waterlogged the way the other saponified sunflower soap did, and the quality of each bar in the pack was genuinely superb. Also used the soap as a body bar with a soap bag, and the sun basin soaps held up really well. If they make a sandalwood-focused scent, I'll buy a terrifying amount!

    2 out of 3 isn't bad

    Overall I really like these scents, but the cinnamon-scented one was too strong. However, I love the soap itself. It lathers very nicely and gets me good and clean. I just prefer the mellower scents.

    Heavenly scents

    I can’t imagine the scents in this evening pack smelling any better! Also, these bars don’t dry out my skin! I’m so incredibly happy with the quality and will be ordering again :)
