These foaming hand soap tabs from Meliora Cleaning Products are a great alternative to individually bottled hand soaps. Just pop one of the tabs in a refillable foaming hand soap bottle, let it dissolve, and wash your hands as per usual. Available in unscented or lemongrass.

Qty: 6 tablets per box

Directions: Use one hand soap tablet for every 8-9 fl oz of warm water.* Dissolve directly in your foaming hand soap bottle and shake gently to speed the process. It may take a few minutes for the tablet to completely dissolve. We recommend using a foaming hand soap bottle to create the foaming action. It will technically work with a normal dispenser but it will be thin and watery.

*To use with the EcoGeek hand soap bottle, dissolve 1-1.5 tabs in the full bottle.

    A bit harsh and seperates

    It is a bit harsh and "dry" on the skin and it slowly sepperates in the bottle. Would love to use nothing but this for the rest of my life, but unfortunately it is just worse than other handsoaps.

    Is it just my kids?

    I was buying waky smelling or decorative foaming soaps during the pandemic to encourage hand washing, Then I switched back to bars being cheaper. But my kids would burn through it because they liked the bubbles. We tried the B&BW refill to be more environmentally conscious but it was 3.5 refills. I didn't like the lack of precision, no marking on the bottle to fill and add water to, etc. Just before this review I came home to a refilled soap. I asked and got "Yes mom it was easy." 5 stars in this Anthropocene

    Decent handsoap and truly plastic free

    I've been using this soap for a few weeks now and plan on keeping a subscription. The soap tablets dissolve quickly and the unscented one truly is fragrance free. The soap itself does a solid job of hand cleaning, washes off easily, and doesn't leave my hands feeling dried. What I really appreciate is that the packaging is all cardboard, as all the previous "plastic free" packaging for similar products I tried buying ended up individual wrappers for the soap tablets that were only biodegradable in a commercial composting facility which is not available in my area. The soap does settle a bit in the bottle, but that is noted in the product description and easily remedied by slightly shaking the bottle. The only thing that kept me from from giving a 5/5 review is that the lather does not last for very long. It lathers up well for the first 10 or so seconds, but then I need to get more soap to fully clean my hands. However, this may be due to minerals in my well water, so that might not be everyone's experience.

    Pretty good overall

    I got the unscented one and, as advertised, it doesn't smell. I'm really glad they have an unscented version as I am very sensitive to fragrances. I love that it comes in paper packaging and takes up very little space under the sink. There are a few downsides to this soap though.

    1. It takes quite a while to dissolve and sometimes doesn't quite dissolve completely. Maybe my tap just doesn't get hot enough.

    2. Because of the liquid consistency, It's doesn't work great in all soap dispensers. I would recommend getting the ecogeek bottle with it.

    3. It leaves your hands with a slight waxy feel.

    All in all, pretty good but I think it could still be improved some, and it might not be for everyone.

    Great for sensitive skin!

    I have very dry and sensitive skin on my hands, which is made worse by needing to wash my hands frequently at home. Most other soaps I've tried either dry my skin out to the point of cracking open within a wash or two, or give me itchy white bumps. This soap does neither! It cleans very well and leaves no residue. The smell (I got the unscented) is a mild and inoffensive soap-y smell. After switching to this soap, I don't have to slather my hands in creams every night. Frankly, this is the best hand soap I've ever used and I'm telling everyone I know with sensitive skin about it.
