The Good Store was founded by Hank and John Green on the belief that humanity can be good news. We’re searching the world for the best versions of the products that you use daily, made by the best people, and then we’re giving all of the profits from those products away to those who need it.
You're going to need to buy socks; you might as well do it in a way that brings a little joy to your doorstep every month while supporting independent artists and donating 100% of profit to charity.
Top shelf tea and coffee that is changing the world one sip at a time. Keats & Co adds a little good to your daily routine by donating 100% of the profit from every cup to fund long term tuberculosis treatment in Lesotho.
We partner with Botanie, a family run business out of Missoula, Montana, to bring you luxurious handcrafted soap and shampoo bars. Botanie uses all natural ingredients that leave you feeling nurtured, fresh, and ready to take on the day.

Yeah your socks are awesome, but what about those undies? At popular request, we're expanding our most popular club to include super soft, long lasting underwear with the awesome designs that you've come to expect from the Awesome Socks Club. Spice up your undergarment game and try them out before they officially launch as a subscription!
The Awesome Undies Club comes from two places. The pens of the incredibly talented artists we work with, and Pacific Manufacturing in Haining, China. Each month we work with a new independent artist who gets full control of the undies as their canvas. Once they’ve perfected the artwork, we send it to the talented craftspeople in Haining who specialize in producing high quality garments - Seriously, our undies don’t wear out.
The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from The Awesome Undies Club go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.
My current underwear, and main point of comparison, is MeUndies. They use the same micromosal fabric, have fun designs, and are also a subscription model.
Designs:
As many have said, the designs are wonderful! We have the socks subscription for my wife and for a while I have been hoping for an awesome undies subscription for myself. The designs are fun, and I have no doubt good.store will continue to have fun and interesting designs. MeUndies also has fun designs, but compared to good.store they are uninspired. I prefer the good.store designs (extrapolating a bit from their sock designs).
Materials:
The fabric is a little bit softer than the fabric from MeUndies. In the picture you can see that the MeUndies has started to pill while the good store hasn't despite similar wear time and washing conditions (delicate wash in delicates bag with cold water, hang dry). I do much prefer the fabric from good.store.
The wasteband from good.store is not as stiff as the MeUndies. For me that means when I wear them while exercising, the wasteband tends to fold over itself. so the wasteband is comfortable, until it folds over. I prefer the wasteband from MeUndies, but it's not a dealbreaker.
The Cut:
Boxer Brief: I got the XL boxer brief. I found the size to be slightly small, but not annoyingly so, it would probably be halfway between a large and an extra large. I am a thick thighed, big-butted, cis-male. Most Boxer briefs do not have enough room in the butt for me, and I prefer…
Thank you so much for this detailed review and comparison! We really appreciate it and will certainly take these comments back to the team.
The fabric is very comfortable however every pair I received had at least 2 differnt manufacturing defects. Primarily stitching around the legs that had threads already unraveling without being worn. I respect the philosophy behind your store and charity however at the price point I will not be purchasing more until they figure out their QA issues. I know there was at least 1 other person with similar issues. If the QA is addressed I will update the review and rating. I am including some of the defects, apologies for the messy desk and keyboard.
Thank you for these detailed photos! We are addressing this issue with our partners.
I love the boxer briefs -the material is excellent, the stretch-ability is good, and the designs are brilliant just like the socks! I do like the bikinis as well, however, the band on them feels too thick for bikini style. I like the thick band for other styles that are higher rise or meant styled more for less curvy bodies (like the boxers). But I have a more curvy body and since they aren't high-rise designs, if I pull them higher for the band to fit, there is little coverage below if you catch my drift. But then if I wear them lower (which is my preference) the band tends to get folded over since it is so wide of a waist band.
I think my overall preference is for the bikinis to have a thinner waist band, but if not that, I would like to see other styles of underwear like high-rise or 'hipster' styles. I do love the ones I have and I hope they get even better! Thanks for all you do <3
I am 5'8", size 16-18 pants. I bought a 2XL and they fit comfy! I bought both the cheekys and the briefs. The thick band around the top is really nice. The product overall I found to be high quality. I machine washed (which I don't think your supposed to do with the fabric ?) and they shrank the tiniest but but still fit well!
They came beautifully wrapped, perfect for gifting. True to size, soft and comfy. Would highly recommend!
