Awesome Socks for an Awesome Cause

In 2019 Hank Green had an idea: everyone needs socks and the Maternal Center of Excellence, a hospital in Sierra Leone that his brother John was raising money for, needed funding. Why not start a club that delivers a pair of unique socks to subscribers' doors every month and then donates 100% of the profit from those socks to the hospital project?

This idea turned out to be successful beyond our wildest dreams. Each month we commission an independent artist to design the socks, develop the pair with our incredibly talented partners Pacific Manufacturing in Haining, China, ship the socks out to our tens of thousands of subscribers, and then make a monthly donation to build, train, and staff a state of the art maternal health hospital in Sierra Leone.
