Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

Where the Money is Going

The founding goal of the Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    Lovely smell and feel!

    These soap bars are wonderful! I love the scent and each bar will last me a long time. I also have a textural issue with some soaps, but this one leaves my skin nice and comfortable without being too dry or getting the weird "squeaky clean" feeling. I have no complaints and will probably use this for the rest of my life.

    GOOD DOT SOAP

    I can never not use this soap again. I ordered a few to try and I really enjoyed all of them as good quality, nice sudsy soap. But Navigator- Clean is ELITE. The scrub, the scent, the longevity 100/100. With other soaps I hardly even feel clean anymore because they lack the exfoliation and superb lather. I will be buying one for everyone I know as a Christmas stocking stuffer.
